Start of the end of IT departments? : In Maribor first Slovenian Cloud Computing Centre has been established

University of Maribor has established the first Slovenian Cloud Computing Centre. The centre is particularly important as it enables the execution of complex data acquisition, transformation and analysis, which are necessary in this project. The establishment of the Cloud Computing Centre will have wider implications, as it will allow the interested parties to develop solution based on the cloud architecture.
