Effectiveness of athletes' pre-competition mental preparation

There are three major psychological phenomena related to precompetitive states, i.e. anxiety, concentration and self-confidence. Different forms of mental training and various psychological techniques can be used to develop and strengthen positive precompetitive states. Our study was conducted basketball players, who participated in our mental preparation programme with the aim of achieving more positive precompetitive states. In general, the mental preparation programme using various psychological techniques proved to be efficient.

Analyse of top Slovenian athletes stress reduction learning process

Were where presented new forms of learning of stress control through biofeedback tehnique. The participants were educated about the use of biofeedback devices, and various forms of athletes`mental training in the proces of psychological preparation for competitions.

Presented various psychological models of process of athletes` injuries rehabilitation. There were presented recent scientific research and findings in the area of ​​rehabilitation, which are the base of the presented models.
