Project presentation: Microarray studies of mechanisms in development of necrosis on potato tubers due to potato virus Y infection

On the 5th symposium of the Center for Functional Genomics and Bio-Chips (CFGBC) we have presented our hypothesis that development of necrosis in PVY infected potato depends on the storage temperature. Our biological test has confirmed this hypothesis. Our first results from the microarray experiment in cooperation with CFGBC were presented.

The influence of storage temperatures on development of necrotic symptoms caused by PVYNTN on tubers of potato cv. Igor

On the 14th triennial meeting of the Virology Section of the European Association for Potato Research (EAPR) Hamar, Norway we have presented our our research on development of necrosis in PVY infected potato depending on the storage temperature. Our results from the microarray experiment were presented as well.
