Treatment outcome in patients with non-optimal resectable peritoneal form of stage III ovarian cancer

The disease-free interval and overall survival in patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy after laparoscopic evaluation of peritoneal advanced ovarian cancer were compared to various residual disease after standard surgical treatment and adjuvant chemotherapy regimen. The preliminary results indicate that the disease-free interval is prolonged in the neoadjuvant subgroup.
