1.
Factors associated with success in modified natural IVF cycle / Tomazevic Tomaz K., Korosec S., Virant I.

Contrary to the published data the authors have found that the efficiency of IVF in the modified natural cycle should not be recommended to older women with poor ovarian response. It is efficient in younger women with female factor infertility.

2.
The impact of uterine septum on implantation and live birth in infertile women undegoing IVF/ICSI

Uterine septa decrease the possibility for implantation of hihg-quality embryos in IVF/ICSI and increase the abortion rate in the achieved pregnancies. Consequently the life birt rate is significantly decreased (RR = 30). After surgical correction the results are similar to those in the female population without uterine anomalies.

3.
Arcuate uterus treatment and reproductive prognosis.

In women with arcuate uterus, i.e. small uterine septum, the reproductive prognosis is similar to that in women with subseptate and septate uterus. This indicates the importance of diagnosis and surgical correction of the small septum in infertile women and in women with previous spontaneous abortions and pretem deliveries. The preventive surgery is justified also in women with arcuate uterus who have not had any unfavourable reproductive events.
