Patent application and development of a new product UV-indicator functional printing ink on the basis of indicator dyes and TiO2

Invention refers to the UV-indicator finctional printing ink on the basis of indicator dyes and photocatalyst, which can be used for indication the quantity of UV radiation. A functional printing ink based on the defined indicator dye was prepared, which records exposure to UV light through irreversible change of colour. Such a formulation of functional printing ink satisfies all basic demands of final application, i.e. screen printing of UV- or Sun-exposure indicators. Those indicators could be used as smart tags on the packaging or clothing.

The development of self-celaning surfaces and development of differnet methods for quantitative evaluation of photocatalytic effect

During some important international conferences we demonstrated the recent achievemnts in the field of self-cleaning photocatalytic materials were presented. We showed the preparation methods of new materials, the measuring techniques developed for evaluation of self-cleaning or photocatalytic efficiency and the characterization methods of the materials prepared.
