Stabilization of dispersions containing nanoparticles

We have published a PCT application in which we protect stabilization of nanoparticles in dispersions using a new approach. First we coat the nanoparticle surface using a thin silica coating. Afterwards we graft an appropriate short chain stabilizer onto the silica coating

Influence of PVC on the properties of self-cleaning paints

Together with the industrial partner TRC JUB we prepared a joint program for diploma Ph.D. The work was successfully realized and defended by Tina Marolt. She was also awarded the Student Presern award.
