The report presents the analysis of a production data that were acquired on the moulding process in company Kolektor KFH. The main problem tackled in the report is how to identify those process parameters, which have the strongest influence on the final product quality. Statistical analysis of historical production data has been applied, where correlation among the process parameters and final product quality is being sought. A model was identified on the basis of a reduced set of process parameters. The acquired model describes the relation among the process parameters and final product quality.

COBISS.SI-ID: 23538471Modern control of manufacturing systems acquire a huge amount of process data. The problem is how to extract informtation out of the data in order to provide useful support to the operators in achieving the required key performance indicators. The approach utilizing neural models has been elaborated and demonstrated on a complex simulated process.

COBISS.SI-ID: 24594215In order to find the relationship between the process parameters and product quality the logistic regression was applied. The problem was strong correlation between the parameters of the input raw materials. Possible solution of the problem is suggested by adopting the Principal Component Analysis.
