PODRŽAJ, Jurij, TRONTELJ, Janez. Optimized selection of materials and components for power module realization

In this paper we focus on the properties of materials and components and their optimal selection. With proposed materials and components, some modifications of technology processes of the power module construction were put in effect. With the proposed materials, components and a new power module design the price/performance ratio achieved was 1.6 times higher compared to the state-of-the-art power module realizations currently available.

SEŠEK, Aleksander, TRONTELJ, Janez. Integrated current regulator for automotive solenoids

Paper presents design of integrated solution for intelligent solenoid driver, used in automotive industry. Solution is based on low side switch architecture with two possible operating modes, current regulating mode and PWM mode. In current regulating mode system works in closed loop as PI controller. Main design problems and solutions are presented, and simulation results are shown. With presented solution 27mA resolution was achieved at 2,5A maximal current.
