1.
Emulsion templated open porous membranes for protein purification

Open cellular porous polyHIPE type membranes were obtained with large pores (cavity) sizes between 3 and 10 m while interconnecting pores were between 1 and 3 m. Porous membranes were chemically modified with diethylamine and packed as an 8 ml column. They exhibited dynamic binding capacity as high as 45 mg/ml.

Adsorption behavior of large plasmids on the anion-exchange methacrylate monolithic columns

Effect of monolithic stationary pahse and mobile phase composition on chromatography of large plasmids was studied. Furthermore, novel method for estimation of adsorbed molecules thickness was implemented. This apprach represents complete novely.

Optimization of lytic phage manufacturing in bioreactor using monolithic supports

Description of the newly developed method for monitoring of released bacterial genomic DNA and its correlation with bacteriophage concentration is given. On this base an optimal termination time is determined, which enable to obtain highly purified bacteriophage due to the absence of DNA cleavage.
