Experimental autonomous cell LAKOS EAC

The experimental manufacturing cell Lakos EAC consists of two computer controlled desktop machines, a mobile robot and a control system. The cell includes elements of ambiental intelligence, creating a ubiquitous production environment. Control of the cell is based on self-organization. The cell is connected to the World Wide Web, where it can be monitored and controlled. Thus, is enables experimental research in the field of distributed production systems on a real system, and not only in the virtual world.
