Our invention represents a new protocol for preparation of tolerogenic DCs with specific properties, induced only by extremely high concentrations of IFN-?. These cells represent potential tool for preparing therapeutic cellular drugs (regulatory T lymphocytes) used for treatment of different immunity-conditioned diseases.

Jeras Matjaž. In vitro testing of antigen-specific immune cell functions.

The invited lecturer has presented to a community of international postgraduate students attending the international summer school (Advanced Methods in Cell Biology, Piran, August 26 - September 3, 2010), a thorough overview of different methods used for assessment of effector immune cell functions in vitro, like: MLR, CML, HTLp, CTLp, test based on flow cytometry, ELISPOT, etc. Additionaly he contributed questions for the final exam and participated at the evaluation of results.
