The article describes an important methodological advance that enables very fast, reliable and cost-effective genotyping of a large number of noninvasive genetic samples. The method has special importance for Slovenia, which is required to ensure monitoring of its bear population, and the use of the presented tools can make this monitoring significantly more reliable, faster and cheaper.
