PI on the project had in 2011 invited lecture at the BIT -Neurotalk - asian neuroscience conference held in Dalian, China. During the talk, teh PI presented results of his research group about studies of hormone independent brain sexual differentiation.

In 2008, the journal was accepted to SCI expanded database and in 2011, Slovenian veterinary research received the impact factor (0,29) for the first time. Since Slovenian Veterinary Research is only the 6th Slovenian journal that received an impact factor, this is commendable achievement.
