OCVIRK, Drago. Islam in Slovenia and Catholic Church's dialogue with it

Muslims in Slovenia are economic immigrants from former common state of Yugoslavia. Until recently there was only one Islamic community with the central in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which divided in two parts. Because Bosniacs prevail institutionally and culturally in both of these communities, Muslims of Macedonian and Albanian/Kosovo background do not feel entirely full members of them. The Catholic Church is in a successful dialogue with a majority Muslim community; meanwhile there is no consistent relationship with the minority one.
