The Geographical Implications of Economic Transition in Slovene Cities

Economic transformation, especially de-industrialization, significantly impacts the geographical structure of the city. A "fall" of traditional industries facilitates the growth of something new, specially the service sector, which is based on creativity and flexibility. The monograph is a review of current events in Slovenian cities and its impact on daily life. Following the modern concepts such as globalization, post-Fordist production, the importance of creativity and innovation.
