Memorials to the fallen Slovenian soldiers - an example of an online collection

The lecure focuses on the memorials to the fallen Slovenian soldiers from the point of view of the source of information about the victims of war. The lists of the names of the fallen sodliers are placed on the majority of he memorials and memorial plaques, which also represent a unique memorial landscape and thus contribute to the formation of the collective memory of the First World war in Slovenija. The collection and descriptions of the memorials are available on internet.

Slovenian historiography and collective memory of World War I

The lecure focuses on the relationship of the Slovenian historiography towards the Slovenian partecipation in World War 1. On the other hand it focuses on the formation of the slovenian ciollective memory on the basis of war victims. The fallen soldiers are delat with from the point of vies of the state-buliding memora in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the commemorations and the political influence on the formation of the memorial landscape.
