Zhizhu: shehui wangluo fenxi jishu

Pajek is a program package for analysis and visualization of large networks. It can be used for free for noncommercial use: http://pajek.imfm.si. Although Pajek has been developed for the last sixteen years, it is still the only general program available on the market that can handle very large networks (networks having up to a billion of vertices and lines). Pajek is cited more than 1000 times in Web of Science and more than 3000 times in Google Scholar. The monograph "Exploratory Social Network Analysis with Pajek" was published by Cambridge University Press in 2005. More than 7000 copies of the monograph were sold in six years. In 2011 the second - revised and expanded - edition was published. The monograph was translated to Japanese and published by Tokyo Denki University Press (2009). It was translated to Chinese and published by Beijing World Publishing Corporation (2012).

Participation in the EU FP: Policy implications

The aim of this study is to offer some insight into the performance patterns of Member States (MSs) in the Framework Programme (FP). The study was presented in the roundtable 'Enhancing participation in the EU framework programmes for research and innovation: Equal opportunities for all excellent research’ organized at the European Parliament (23.11. 2011), at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the EU in Brussels (23.11. 2011), and at the Science and Technology Council of the Republic of Slovenia (13.12.2011).
