Article tematize the position of women in Slovenia and their social, political and civil rights. The article debates the development of social, political and reproductive rights thorough history in Slovenia. In spite of good normative standards unequal position of women in society persists as indicators in the labour market and women's presence in politics shows.

The article analyses activities of female deputies in Slovene Parliament compare their demographic characteristics, fields of work and differences and similarities in the ways of performing politics between male and female deputies. It demonstrates that female deputies despite their low presence bring differences in the ways of doing it as well as in the priorities they gave to different policies areas.
