MAČEK, Irena. Abiotic slective pressure determines arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal community in the mofette area Stavešinci.

Results on biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal community from natural CO2 spring Stavešinci (NE Slovenia) were presented. Results suggest that community assemblages of AM fungi are the result of powerful selection by, and local adaptation to, the abiotic soil environment (high CO2 and hypoxia).
