Stability of membranous nanostructures

Stability of membranous nanostructures is considered as a possible key mechanism in cancer progression

Vesiculability of blood cells as a source of microvesicles in isolation from blood

By analyzing images of isolates of microvesicles from blood and by studying the effect of different parameters on the concentraction of microvesicles in isolates we have found that microvesicles in isolates from blood are mostly clinically relevant artefact of the method.

Anticoagulant, antimetastatic and anti-inflamation tole of heparin

We opbserved that heparine enhances the effect of plasma in mediating attractive interaction between membranes and suppresses vesiculation of membranes. We suggested a hypothesis that this mechanism underlays anticoagulant, antimetastatic and antiinflation role of heparin.

Orientational ordering of molecules as a mechanism of attractive mediating interaction between membranes

We constructed a theory where ions with spatially distributed charge mediate attractive interaction between like-charged membranes due to orientational ordering.
