Description of safety parameters is based on description of structures, systems, components and their integral performance given in the project documentation of the vendors. The work is performed according to the safety philosophy and safety standards of International Atomic Energy Agency. Identification is supported by the review of safety analyses.

We performed analyses as the tradeoff between unavailability and uncertainty in nuclear industry. We cooperated within international research project APSA Aging in probabilistic safety assessment.

Assessment of outage and fuel replacement after the outage of NPP Krško after 24 fuel cycle

We analysed the outage activities of nuclear power plant Krško and determined the acceptability of its startup and inclusion into the slovenian power system. The efforts were focused to the activities important for nuclear power plant safety.
