Process for the synthesis of nanotubes and fullerene-like nanostructures of transition metal dichalcogenides, quasi one-dimensional structures of transition metals and oxides of transition metals.

We have protected synthesis of MoS2 nanotubes and peapods, geometry of peapods and threadlike molybdenum oxides. MoS2 nanotubes are applicable in industrial lubricants, solar cells, as catalysts in desulfurization of petroleum and for self lubricative polymer coatings.

Problems of safe production and use of nanotextile

At annual meeting of Slovenian textile industry we presented nanomaterials, which are appropriate for use in synthetic textile or as additive to natural fibres, as well as preventive measures for safe utilization of nanomaterials.
