Coaching a group of diploma students on project of nano-materials in the scope of international competition in synthetic biology named iGEM 2009. The group received a gold medal for the project among more than 80 student research groups.

Purpose of lecture was to introduce and present advantages of genetically encoded sensors for detection of intracellular calcium and pH. Detailed description of calcium and pH homeostasis in fungi was given.
