Problem of media use by young generations

The article is focused on the question of new communication technologies and especially toward the relationship of the young people in relation to new media culture. The content of media culture is produced mainly within the global ICT and entertainment companies, and that type of ICT development enforces simplification of global culture with more or less the same media images. The article is focused to a problem of media use by young generations, especially it investigates their disengagement with news. The article tries to explain what are young people consuming instead of news and what drives their decisions about what to consume.
