Slovenec: the Political Journal for the Slovenian Nation (1873-1945): a brief overview of the history of the 140th anniversary of its publication. Ljubljana: National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia, 2013. It presents the essential features of Slovenian conceptual history of that period and evaluates the consequences on the development of Slovenia today. The entire monograph and this article have reverberated within Slovenia.

Primarily they deal with humanities but there are also researchers from other areas such as medicine, cognitive science and social science. The central topic of the book – which is common to all papers – is fear. The authors research fear from different points of view: philosophical, theological, psycho-therapeutic, pedagogical, historical, sociological, legal, medicinal, bio-ethical and neurological. The book as a whole is also a contribution to the inter-disciplinary research of the culture of fear. It brings new findings, approaches and explanations regarding the conceptual clarifications, new concrete empirical data and their interpretation as well as new hermeneutic approaches to the understanding of segments of European history. Because of these novelties - and also because of its integral consideration the book represents, on the global international level, a distinguished, precious, unique and an original achievement of the scientific research of fear.
