COBISS.SI-ID: 257716480Janez Juhant was the president of program committee of the conference. Bojan Žalec was the president of the organizing committee of the international scientific conference »The possibilities and meaning of reconciliation« which took place in Celje and Ljubljana (November 6th–9th 2011). The conference attended reputable scientists from seven European countries. Among them there were members of the Slovene academy of sciences and arts and members of the European academy of sciences and arts from Salzburg including its president Professor Felix Unger. The conference echoed very well in the broader public, in the European parliament and in public media (reports and more extensive contributions in radio programs, newspapers and on (Slovenian national) TV). This is not a surprise because reconciliation is one of the central tasks of Slovenian and European society in general. The following members of the prog. group presented their contributions at the conference: Erzar Tomaž, Gerjolj Stanko, Jamnik Anton, Juhant Janez, Klun Branko, Martinjak Ana, Ocvirk Drago Karl, Osredkar Mari Jože, Petkovšek Robert, Slatinek Stanislav, Strehovec Tadej, and Žalec Bojan.
