New findings on the work of Slovene impressionists in the first decade of the 20th Century

The paper discusses the participation of the Sava Group members at the First Exhibition of Slovene Artists in Trieste in 1907 and their artistic production of the time. With the help of three photographs taken in the exhibition rooms and preserved in the legacy of Fran Vesel, the artworks of the Sava Group, exhibited on this occasion, are identified in the first place, several of which are untraced or lost today. Analysed on the basis of such reconstruction of individual exhibited oeuvres are the production and the manner of exhibiting of individual artists.
