Antonio Corradini, the Collegio dei scultori and Neo-Cinquecentisimo in Venice around 1720

A presentation of research about Venetian sculpture around 1720, dedicated especially to the question of how the struggle for a better social status of sculptors reflected in their own work. The protagonist of this events was Antonio Corradini who also worked for patrons in Carinthia, Vienna, and in Germany, and was latter nominated court sculptor to Charles VI in Vienna.

The event as a privileged medium in the contemporary art world

Compendium of texts, which were selected from the papers at the symposium with the same name (also organized by Beti Žerovc, Moderna galerija Ljubljana, 2011). The chosen theme is approached in interdisciplinary manner; authors are distinguished scientist, among other anthropologists Henrietta Moore and Thomas Fillitz, philosopher Robert Pfaller etc.

The Circumstances of Retirement of Josip Mantuani as a Director of the National Museum in Ljubljana: the Work and Dismission of the Last Director – Art Historian

The paper presented the work of Josip Mantuani in the National Museum in Ljubljana and a little-known circumstances of his retirement. Under his leadership todays primarily Historical Museum was on its way to becoming an art-historical museum, which was partly prevented by his involuntary retirement.

The workshop practices of stonemasons in Dubrovnik in 15th century

Presentation of archival research in Dubrovnik: this paper was dedicated to the working practices and organisation of stonemasons' and sculptors' workshops. The results are important for further similiar studies in the Adriatic area as well as in Mediterranean in general.
