On the basis of archival documents kept by the Natural History Museum in Vienna the owner of the famous Vače situla was determined 131 year after its discovery.

Late Antique fortified settlement Tonovcov grad near Kobarid, finds

We presented rewarded book with all the material found in the settlement (objects of everyday use, ceramic and glass vessels, coins and human and animal bone remains). Exceptional number of finds tells us about the life of Roman and Germanic population in the area of south-eastern Alps at the time just before the arrival of the Slavs.
