The Lexicon of the 16th-Century Slovene Literary Language

This lexicographic work is the first comprehensive treatment of the lexicon used in the second half of the 16th century. It was compiled on the basis of complete excerption of all book publications that include Slovene texts and were published between 1550 and 1603. Headwords are furnished with information about their part of speech and other grammatical information as well as with data about their sources.

The Modern Normative Guide between Norm and Codification

The book has five chapters, in which the authors establish the sociolinguistic framework for determining the model of contemporary normative guide. It also addresses major gaps detected in the current normative guide (Slovenski pravopis 2001) and gives some proposals for further and alternative solutions. Furthermore, the contemporary concept of orthographic informativeness in normative guide is described.
