In 2010 we organised int. symposium Child in motion 2010. The conference, with all contributions and debates, focused on societal influence on child development. The main aim of the symposium was dedicated to enlighten the importance of the environment on basic areas of child development and his physical activity. Symposium was dedicated to all who work in physical education or includes the physical education processes in their work with children. We explicitly stressed modern approaches in studying child motor development. There were 135 active participants.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1888979In this invited lecture was presented to paediatricians an importance of coordinated child movement for long-term and competent life. The data from the research project were presented aimed at: accordance evaluation of fundamental motor patterns (FMP) with the given complete kinematic evaluation; analysis of possible causes for inadequate adaptation of FMP and its relevance to physical and motor development; longitudinal assessment of the FMP adaptation in children aged from 4 to 7 years; etc.
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 26831321In 2010 we patented three solutions in the field of human movement diagnostics. We focused on 3D laser scan body posture analysis, dynamic balance assessment and ergonomic solution for uphill cycling. The method for dynamic balance assessment was published in SCI journal while other methods presented in international conferences.

Encourages articles about public health issues and the development of the public health especially in the south east Europe.

COBISS.SI-ID: 3287810We have accredited and initiated a new study programme of Applied kinesiology 1., 2., and 3. bologna cycle at the University of Primorska. The researchers of research programme formed the working group of both undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes. In 2010 we submitted also elaborate for new Faculty of ergonomics and kinesiology studies (UP FENIKS). In 2010/11 1. and 2. bologna cycle started with student matriculation, while 3. bologna cycle will initiated in 2011/12, the same as new UP FENIKS.
