Organisation of the scientific conference "X. Nomotechnical days", Ljubljana, 23 May 2012

Since 2003, the Institute for Comparative Law has been organising, in cooperation with the Government Office for Legislation and the Faculty of Law, Unversity of Ljubljana, the annual conference "Nomotechnical Days", held each May at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. The main purpose of the conference is to discuss the topical issues of nomotechnics i. e. the art and principles of the formation of laws and other legal regulations from the methodological, structural, constitutional and linguistic aspects, and to establish a wide professional consensus on the development of clear principles of Slovenian nomotechnics.

Organisation of the scientific conference "X Civil and commercial law days: The first decade of the Obligations Code", Portorož, 12 and 13 April 2012

Since 2001, the Institute has been organising annually a scientific legal conference "The Civil Law Days", which has evolved into the the central meeting of Slovenian lawyers working in the field of private law in academic circles, in judiciary and in business. Each conference is focused on a set of selected topical issues of civil and commercial law, defined narrowly so as to enable indepth discussion combining legal theory and practice.

Slovenian arbitration practice is the first specialist magazine in Slovenia dedicated to arbitration. Lawyers, lawyers, arbitrators, judges, and all who deal with arbitration in work or stady can find in it useful content and professional information in the field of arbitral dispute resolution in Slovenia, in the region and beyond. The magazine, which comes out three times a year, publishes topical professional contributions in the field of commercial arbitration. By presenting concrete examples of arbitration practice, the journal fulfills its primary mission - to contribute to the development of arbitration in Slovenia.

Pravnik law journal. Ude, Lojze (member of the editorial board 1979-1983, 2008-).

Pravnik is the oldest Slovenian legal journal, which has been published (with interruptions) since 1862 and is credited for promoting Slovenian legal terminology and the development of the Slovenian legal science. Today, its publisher is the Union of Jurists' Associations. Pravnik journal is included in the international bibliographic database Internationale Bibliographie der Zeitschriftenliteratur (IBZ) and CSA Philosopher's Index.
