Uncertain first steps of the Agency (for corporate governance of SOEs)

The new Agency for governance of capital investment of the Republic of Slovenia has set the country on the new path. The paper analyzes the first decisions of this Agency and points to the mistakes tha Agency has made. The paper argues tha the key misunderstanding of the mission of this Agency is in its overemphasis on the principle of independence and underestimation of the pronciple of accountability.
