How to fully exploit the results of e-government user surveys : the case of Slovenia

The paper addresses two interrelated questions that have not been sufficiently answered yet: (1) How to increase the current low level of e-government use, and (2) How to advance the current practice of analyzing data from e-government satisfaction surveys in order to arrive at guidelines for decision-makers when shaping future e-government development. For this purpose, an inventive cause-and-effect model was developed and operationalized by a set of indicators observed by citizen satisfaction survey carried out in Slovenia.

Management of application and change of legislation through an innovative Web 2.0 solution

The project's contribution to scholarship, and subsequent contributions it gave rise to, extend to administrative and legal studies as they (re)define the role of an administrative body as a player in public management processes in which it not only implements, but also helps create legislative norms through applying them to actual concrete situations. Furthermore, these contributions extend to the field of information technology, as they define the significance and various aspects of Web 2.0 technologies in the relationship between the suppliers and above all users of these solutions.
