The article summarizes the main research priorities in the field of genomics of farm animals and evaluates them in terms of their importance for the advancement of livestock production. The most significant areas of research covered by the EU calls for proposals are presented and the integration of research into the development of new strategies for agricultural development is discussed.

Development of the compound of bio-similar drug

Dr. Mojca Narat acquired together with the company Lek d.d. a project which will enable work of 10 graduate students on topics relevant for the pharmaceutical industry under supervision of mentorrs from academia and industry. The projekt is supported with EUR 24.000 from the EU.
