Thermal- and pH-stability of diether C25,25 liposomes derived from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Aeropyrum pernix K1

The results of pH and thermal stablity of liposomes/archaeosomes were presented. We have find out that liposomes are pH stable in the pH range from 4 to 10. In the temperature range from 0 to 40°C, we observed a very broad endothermic transition, while no major transition from gel-to-liquid crystalline state was observed.

Optimization of chemiluminescence assay for determination of antioxidant capacity of food extracts

Chemiluminescence assay for determination of antioxidant capacity (AOC) was optimized. The optimized chemiluminescence assay is simple, rapid and reliable and represents a good alternative to classical methods for determination of AOC in food extracts.
