Quality seed - quality product

New methodology for certification of forest reproductive material and use of genetic data as a molecular database was prepared, including its application, a software for bast modification of the database for use with different population-genetics programmes. Also SOP for molecular identification of hybreeds between Fraxinus excelsior and F. angustifolia, and SOP for microsatellite analysis was prepared.

Technical guidelines for genetic conservation and use

Publication of a series of Technical guidelines for conservation and use of forest genetic resources: translation and preparation of the Slovenian annex, for Norway spruce, beech, pedunculate and sessile oaks, black poplar, wild cherry, common and norrowleaf ash, and silver fir. The guidelines were published as part of the Forestry journal so that they can be compiled into a common brochure.
