How to research multimorbidity in general practice?

Multimorbidity in family medicine is the rule rather than the exception, yet in Slovenia this health problem has not yet been adequately studied. The aim of this systematic literature review was to determine how theissue of multimorbidity has been explored and to identify questions that still need to be addressed.

Epidemiological and clinical features of patients infected with influenza A (H1N1)v in Slovenia.

Introduction of the novel virus influenza A (H1N1)v in Slovenia directed enhanced surveillance and introduction of measures to delay the progress of pandemic virus. Active case finding started in April 2009. The first case was confirmed on June. Epidemiological and clinical data of first 100 cases with confirmed influenza A (H1N1)v were collected. Majority of patients, acquired the infection abroad, most often in Greece and Spain. Only three patients obtained the infection in Slovenia.The greater part of patients was young, 80 % was younger than 30 years of age.

Assessment instruments to the ICF: assessment of functioning and outcome of rehabilitation after traumatic brain injury.

The article describes a method for converting the data from medical records, tests and scales into ICF codes, and presents a case of using the method for a person after traumatic brain injury.
