Clinical and immune aspects of pathogenesis of intermediate uveitis

A doctoral thesis of dr.Nataša Vidovič Valentinčič, dealing with clinical aspects of intermediate uveitis from all the different forms. In particular, intermediary uveitis was highlighted as a clinical entity that can be associated with multiple sclerosis. In addition, the value of analysis of cytokines in aqueous humor was analysed and evaluated. Mentors were prof.Marko Hawlina and prof.Aniki Rothova.

Patohistological features of anterior lens capsule in white intumescent cataract

A doctoral thesis of dr.Špela Štunf, dealing with importance of research of anterior lens capsule alterations in intumescent white cataracts and in cataracts associated with uveitis. Different ultrastructural changes were noted and were associated with surgical complications in these types of cataracts. Mentors were prof.Marko Hawlina and dr.Anastazija Hvala.
