1.
Parthenogenetic embryo-like structures in the human ovarian surface epithelium cell culture in postmenopausal women

We demonstrated that cultured ovarian stem cells expressed embryonic stem cell markers and gave rise to embrioid body-, oocyte-, and blastocyst-like structures.

2.
Disturbed expression of estrogen and progesterone metabolizing enzymes in ovarian endometriosis

Our data indicate that several enzymes of estrogen and progesterone metabolism are aberrantly expressed in endometriosis. Changes in estrogen receptor expression suggest that estradiol may also act via non-estrogen receptor-mediated pathways.

3.
Male factors that influence ICSI outcome in azoospermia or aspermia

In azoospermia/aspermia, the ICSI outcome, especially fertilization rate and embryo development to the blastocyst stage depends on FSH, Johnsen score and motility.

4.
Follicular oestradiol and VEGF after GnRH antagonists or GnRH agonists

Follicular oestradiol and VEGF were lower in the GnRH antagonist group that correlated with fewer metaphase II and more immature and degenerative oocytes.

5.
Application of hi-square-based scoring function for improvement of categorization of genetic topics in MELINE citations

We developed a simple method that uses a chi-square-based scoring function to determine the likelihood of MEDLINE(R) citations containing genetic relevant topic.
