Invited lecture at the International conference Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Disease in Central and Eastern Europe Conference, organized by National Institute of Health, was presented during the two-hour official symposium »Epidemiology of VHF in Eastern Europe”. Prof. dr. Tatjana Avšič-Županc presented a review of epidemiology, ecology and virology of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever, focusing on CCHF in Kosovo and presenting their preliminary results of studies done on immunopathogenesis of the disease.
