Feasibility of an eHealth service to support collaborative depression care : results of a pilot study.

This is (according to ARRS classification) an exceptional achievement, because the journal ranks 2/96 in health care sciences, and 2/23 in medical informatics. As to research, this paper focuses on treatments and organizational changes supported by e-Health that are beginning to play an important role in improving disease treatment outcome and providing cost-efficient care management. It is based on active patient engagement and collaborative care management by combining Web- and mobile-based information, communication technology systems and access to care managers.

Advanced framework for digital forensic technologies and procedures.

Based on practical experiences, this article describes new technological solutions for improvement of digital forensics on one hand, and gives a framework for digital forensic procedures that would reduce possibility of procedural mistakes in forensic investigations. RFID security.

This chapter in scientific monograph gives an analysis of RFID systems security in presents a new solution for provision of privacy, which has also been patented. The solution expoits asymmetry of available computing power in RFID tags on one hand, and back-end IS on the other.

A tool for IT process construction.

This is (according to ARRS classification) a quality achievement, because the journal is in the first quartil in computer science and SW engineering (19/93). The field of IT processes lacks a scientifically-based tool that constructs organisation-specific IT processes according to the organisation’s socio-technical characteristics. In this paper a solution to this problem is proposed in the form of IT process engineering (ITPE). ITPE is based on established method engineering principles which we have adapted to IT process construction.

Planning smooth and obstacle-avoiding B-spline paths for autonomous mining vehicles.

This paper gives a study of a problem of automatic generation of smooth and obstacle-avoiding planar paths for efficient guidance of autonomous mining vehicles. A new solution is presented that is successfully applied on eight path-planning cases arising from real-world mining data provided by the Swedish mining company Luossavaara-Kiirunavaara AB (LKAB). Simulations show that, with an average 32.13%, the new paths are faster to travel along than the paths currently in use.
