1.
Small satellites technologies from newcomers perspective - Slovenian Space-Si case

In Slovenia a new Centre of Excellence for Space Sciences and technologies SPACE-SI became operational in 2010. The RTD goals of the SPACE-SI consortium consisting of academic institutions, high-tech SMEs and large industrial and insurance companies are focused on nano and micro satellite technologies that are enabling high precision interactive remote sensing and precise maneuvering of small spacecraft in formation flying missions.

F.05 Ability to launch new technological development cycle

COBISS.SI-ID: 7898708
2.
Production of composite panels made of magnesium alloys and ceramic foam

New technology and procedure has been intodruced which enables of production of composite panels made of magnesium alloys and ceramic foam which shows large potencial for ussage for many aplications.

F.06 Development of a new product

COBISS.SI-ID: 14898454
3.
Prediction of statically recrystallized microstructure during extrusion of aluminium alloys

To predict evolution of microstructure of aluminum alloys after deformation a numerical model based on the method of cellular automata (CA) has been developed and combined with the finite element model (FEM). The main objective of the combined FEM-CA model is to enable numerical predictions of growth of grains in the subsurface layers of extruded bars that occurs after deformation before the quenching in the industrial hot extrusion production chain.

F.09 Development of a new technological process or technology

COBISS.SI-ID: 1092959
4.
Improvement of the extruding technology and heat treatment of Al-Mg-Si alloy

The necesary steps for improveing the technology and heat treatment of aluminium alloys taht lead to significant enhancement of both the final properties as well as hot workability of Al-Mg-Si alloy.

F.10 Improvements to an existing technological process or technology

COBISS.SI-ID: 1045343
5.
Process-oriented numerical simulation of mechanised tunnellig

This book presents the latest technological innovations in underground design, construction, and operation and comprehensively discusses novelties in ground improvement, simulation, process integration, safety, monitoring, environmental impact, equipment, boring and cutting, personnel training, materials, robotics and more. The novelties presented are the result of a big research project focused on advancing underground engineering, in which many players in the discipline have been involved. The contribution presents latest developments of process-oriented numerical simulation this field.
