Organization of the international scientific workshop and postgraduate course "Electroporation-based Technologies and Treatments"

In November 2011, we successfully organized and carried out the 4th biannual international scientific workshop and postgraduate course "Electroporation-based technologies and treatments". The lecturers were the most eminent and established international experts in electroporation: Eberhard Neumann, Justin Teissié, Lluis M. Mir, Veronique Préat, P. Thomas Vernier, Richard Heller, Wolfgang Frey and others. The audience comprised students from Slovenia and over 25 other countries, as the course is a part of the credit system of the EU doctoral studies programmes.

Since 2002, Prof. Damijan Miklavčič has been serving as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering (ISSN 0018-9294, JCR IF 2010 = 1.782), in 2011 overviewing the peer review of 12 submitted manuscripts.
