One of the msot important contributions to the accuracy of the non-contact thermometers is accurate and repeatabile positioning in front of the blackbody source in the calibration process. Members of the research programme designed and manufactured special positionig system with 5 degrees of freedom. Using such system, one can fully evaluate all relevant parameters.

An analog-to-digital converter dynamic testing is very important part in the evaluation of the measurement channel. The estimation of the significant components in the residual spectrum is a prerequisite in this procedure. The method for emulating coherent sampling by the interpolation of the DFT to estimate the frequency, amplitude, and phase of the particular residual component has been proposed.
