1.
OMAN, Simon. Model for estimation of air-spring life based on accelerated experiments : PhD thesis.

A young researcher has elaborated a very good doctor's degree and published the results of the research in scientific publications. The applicative value of his achievments is of high importance, too. Dr Simon Oman is an assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

2.
WAGNER, Andrej. Structural reliability of nonmetal products at the thermomechanical fatigue : PhD thesis.

Assitant Andrej Wagner has elaborated a very good doctor's degree and published the results of the research in scientific publications. The applicative value of his achievments is important, because his methodology enables prediction of durability of nonmetal products in early phases of the R&D process. Dr. Andrej Wagner is an assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

4.
MaximizerPro: Belt drive design software.

In 2003 a very successful cooperation with the Veyance Technologies concern started in the field of the software development for belt drives. The software developed in our group GY MaxPro is already used worldwide. The last version of the programme MaximizerPro can be found on http://www.goodyearep.com/maxpro/.

F.17 Transfer of existing technologies, know-how, methods and procedures into practice

5.
ŠKRLEC Andrej, KLEMENC Jernej, FAJDIGA, Matija: Estimation of material parameters with numerical optimization methods.

An analisys and comparison of three optimization methods was performed to estimate the parameters of the nonlinear parameters. For a complex material model that is used in Ls-Dyna simulations an optimal values of the parameters were estimated. The best optimization method will be applied in further work.

F.01 Acquisition of new practical knowledge, information and skills
