The fracture strength of fibre-cement corrugated sheets : a statistical approach using weibull analysis

V članku je raziskav vpliv dveh procesnih parametrov, t.j. tlaka pri stiskanju plošč v proizvodnji in vsebnosti PVA vlaken, na zlomno trdnost, rezultate pa smo interpretirali s pomočjo Weibullove statistike. Ugotovili smo, da vsebnost vlaken močno vpliva na Weibullove parameter, medtem ko korelacije med uporabljenim tlakom in weibullovim modulom nismo ugotovili.

Process for preparation of colloidal supporting powder with high specific surface

The invention relates to a process for preparation of colloidal supporting powder with high specific surface using AlN powder hydrolysis in a water suspension, or a water-containing suspension, where AlN particles transfor to bundles of aggregated porous particles of aluminum oxy-hydroxide (boehmite; AlOOH) with high specific area. After subsequent thermal treatment of as-prepared colloidal powder AlOOH transforms into one of the transitional alumium oxides (Al2O3).

Establishement of a spin-out company InnCerT d.o.o.

On the basis of the patent "Process for Applying Adhesion Coating to a Substratet" he JSI spin-out company InnCerT d.o.o. was founded that will develop and market the set for the application of adhesion coating for dental laboratories. The purpose of the coating is to improve adhesion of commercially available dental and/or bone cements to the substrate, which is preferably used as a fixed partial denture or a bone implant.
