Dragan Marušič is one of the two Founding Editors and Editors-in-Chief of the International mathematical journal ‘Ars Mathematica Contemporanea’. With this journal Slovenian mathematics has opened up a new chapther in its development and has definitely put itself on the world map.

The first international conference "Symmetry of graphs and networks" was held in Banff Int. Research Station, Canada. Due to international scientific reputation of Dragan Marušič the organization of this second conference was given to our research group.
