Pion scattering and electro-production on nucleons in the resonance region in chiral quark models

We have used the formalism of coupled channels and the underlying quark model CBM (cloudy bag) to compute the electroproduction and scattering amplitudes for negative parity nucleon resonances.

Measurements of the generalized electric and magnetic polarizabilities of the proton at low Q^2 using the virtual Compton scattering reaction

The leader of the programme group, assoc. prof. dr. Simon Širca has coordinated the data analysis efforts of the OOPS/MIT-Bates collaboration. In 2011, we have published two more OOPS papers, one on electroproduction of pions, and one on virtual Compton scattering.
